Situation
Having been established for 10+ years, Gladstone Men’s Shed Assoc Inc. has a steadily growing membership and increasing range of activities, equipment, and materials available onsite. They needed to expand their facility at Barney Point with a new shed — starting with a concrete slab.

Solution
Simmons Civil donated labour and equipment to Gladstone Men’s Shed in order to complete the new concrete slab for their shed. This project is being completed in partnership with other local businesses, including McCosker Contracting, Singh Concrete Pumping and Pructon Construction, alongside grants from Bendigo Community Bank, Gladstone Regional Council, Gambling Community Benefit Fund, and the Australian Government.
