Our Story
Since Simmons Civil was founded in 2018 by Jake and Renee Simmons, we’ve quickly grown in size and impact, establishing ourselves as key partners for some of the Gladstone region’s biggest companies and projects. We’ve already worked with Orica, Boyne Smelters (Rio Tinto), Cement Australia, Gladstone Ports Corporation, and Gladstone Regional Council.

Our highly skilled team offers decades of experience to various civil construction projects throughout the region. With their support, we’ve built up an extensive fleet, including excavators, skid steers, hook trucks, crew trucks, trailers, hand tools, safety equipment, and specialised tools. Our experienced operators, skilled contractors, and trusted partners (such as QLD Cut & Core) work together to get the job done, ensuring safety, flexibility, and quality.
